ABOUT US
"Do not let your adorning be external-the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear-but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious."
1 Peter 3:3-4
Emmanuel Harvest Outreach Ministries, Inc. is a faith based non-profit 501 (C) (3) corporation established April 21, 2016.

Our purpose is to provide comprehensive assistance for young women who needs guidance and support to their life journey.

Founder: Marceia J. Pearsall formed Emmanuel Harvest Outreach Ministries, Inc. to fill in gaps in the criminal justice and foster care and behavioral health delivery system. As a former Corrections Officer in the Delaware County Prison System, she witnessed first - hand, a higher-than normal rate of recidivism, among first time offending women. She felt compelled to do something about the plight of young women into society. Many women into society without adequate housing, support, education, and employability skills. These young women are victims of their inability to break the cycles of addiction, poverty and ultimately crime. In many cases, these young women have without adequate housing and no support, which exacerbates their need for habilitation.

History: In 2018, EHOM set up events and workshops at the Lansdowne Library for young women from tri-state of Pennsylvania. The workshops will focus on young women's heath, etiquette and life skills. Ehom continue to work with John Heinz Wildlife Refuge.

Collaboration: We continue to collaborate with like-minded organizations referring young women to housing and supportive services. We continue to work with the Boscov Annual Fund Raiser organization.

Safety: Many urban young women live in fear, where drug sales, crime, and violence are commonplace in our society. Statistics show that less than 3% of young women find themselves being disruptive and emotional in society.

Target Population: Single young women ages 15-20.

Target Area: The Tri-State Area/Philadelphia Metropolis
